Installation
Unzip and place the folder EggObject2.1 intos Cinema4D’s plugins-directory and restart Cinema4D. The Egg-Object 2.1 is located in Plug-ins / Egg-Object 2.1.
In the folder EggObject2.1 you’ll find egg-object-2-examples.c4d with examples.
Basic functions
If the features shell, egg white and yolk are disabled, Egg-Object 2 acts like the previous version.
Height
Defines the egg’s height – can be changed numerical or via vertical handle in the editor.
Radius
Defines the egg’s diameter – can be changed numerical or via horizontal handle in the editor.
Subdivision
Defines, how coarse or fine the egg’s mesh is segmented.
Type
Offers five mesh-options, known from the sphere object.
Orientation
Aligns the egg to an axis
Base Axis
Lets the egg stand on its axis. When disabled, the axis is in the center of the egg.

Simple Boole
If an object is place hierarchical in the Egg-Object 2, it will be subtracted from the egg per internal Boole-object.
Invert Boole
Inverts the internal Boole-object and the respective intersections become visible.
Extensions
If one or more of the options shell, egg white or yolk are enabled, the Egg-Object 2 gets appropriate inner values.
Radius egg white
Defines the egg white’s diameter and as a result, the thickness of the shell, too.
Radius yolk
Changes the radius of the yolk sphere and thereby, the cavity inside the egg white, too.
Gap
Creates a gap between the three parts of the egg.
Tri-Booler
Hierarchically placed objects in the Egg-Object 2 get substracted from the egg.
If there is only one child object, it influences shell, egg white and yolk. If there are two child objects, the first one influences the shell, and the second egg white and yolk. If there are three child objects, every part of the egg gets its own Boole-object.
Texturing
Texturing, acts similar to the Tri-Booler.
If the Egg-Object 2 gets a material – whichs means a texture tag, shell, egg white and yolk will have this material. If there are two texture tags, the shell gets the first, egg white and yolk the second material. If there are three texture tags, every part of the egg gets its own material.
